Sanskrit / Transliteration

TRANSLATION

Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.

EXPLANATION

Called the charama shloka (the final instruction), this verse contains the entire Gita's conclusion: surrender. After 700 verses of instruction, this is the ultimate teaching. Not blind surrender — surrender informed by the entire preceding dialogue. This is not weakness; it is the supreme act of wisdom and trust.
